Producer Allu Aravind switched on the camera for the muhurtham shot, while veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao sounded the clapboard.
The script of the movie was handed over to the makers by Chiranjeevi himself, along with his wife Surekha.
Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod will bankroll this mega-budgeted film that will have cinematography by Chota K Naidu.
