Megastar Chiranjeevi is now at the forefront of all the charity activities of the corona crisis.
He took the initiation to create a fund to help the daily wage workers in the Telugu film industry who are hard hit by the shutting down of film shoots. He also contributed Rs 1 crore donation to the fund.
Needless to say, Chiranjeevi is thanking each member of the industry who had contributed to the fund through his Twitter handle and is also encouraging everyone to do their bit of service.
Not just during this crisis, Chiranjeevi has actively been involving in resolving various issues about the film industry and movie artistes’ association from some months.
Dasari Narayana Rao had played such role of a big daddy in the industry for many years.
After his demise, none came to take his position but Megastar Chiranjeevi who is respected by all the current superstars and juniors is slowly stepping in. He is now Tollywood’s unofficial ‘pedda’.
