Mega Star Chiranjeevi has shared many interesting things in an exclusive interview to greatandhra.com, explaining about the aspects surrounding CCC and the help being extended to the underprivileged in the 24 Crafts of the film industry,
He shared, "It gives me ample joy in helping the underprivileged. The moment I got the idea of CCC, what bothered me is not the aspect of money but the modus operandi of its execution. But N Shankar, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Meher Ramesh and others have made things easier with their solutions.
We believed Corona issue is not a problem that will end in a month. So, we prepared to give essential commodities to all the deserving 24 Crafts families for three consecutive months. We made collections up to that requirement.
If at all we need more funds to continue the help further, I am ready to beg from the Corporate Companies. I have good relations with companies like GMR, GVK and Mega Engineering. I don't hesitate to ask them the required help".
He added, "We have also implemented a meticulous accounting and audit system. I am happy that even Ramoji Rao garu has appreciated our way of functioning with attention to detail in distribution. He is a personality who had decades of experience in collecting funds and helping the people during various calamities. We are privileged to get some donation from him for our CCC".
He concluded saying, "Never asked a single penny from any one, so far, for Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust. Even a couple of days ago I invested Rs 38 lakh of my personal money to buy new equipment. This is the first time I took decision to take the help from others for CCC to help my extended family members in my industry".
