Nagarjuna will be seen reprising the role of Bangarraju in the sequel to his blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana and Naga Chaitanya coming on board to play China Bangarraju makes it more special.
Nagarjuna says there’s something special in bloodline chemistry. “The chemistry between family members will appeal more to audience. I also worked with my nanna in few movies and audience loved them.”
Nag says he recollects memories of his father ANR whenever he wears panche. “If we didn’t have worked together for Manam, it wouldn’t have become such big hit.”
He says music director Anup Rubens is like a family member. “Anup gives time and takes time. Kalyan Krishna too wanted him. The music in Bangarraju is far better than SCN.”
Nagarjuna affirms he didn’t give any suggestion to Chay, but asked him to watch Soggade Chinni Nayana. “I used to read my dialogues and send the tapes to Chay. Kalyan too helped him a lot, in terms of the diction.”
He says his and Ramya Krishna’s is a golden combination. “It’s a Bangaram lanti combination. We know each other very well.”
Nag says Kalyan Krishna is very easy to deal with. “I enjoy working with Kalyan. He is very good with his pen. He even penned a song as well.”
As is known, Nagarjuna sung Laddunda song in the film. “I wanted to sing only initial portions, but I was asked to sing complete song. However, singing is not my cup of tea.”
Nag says Naga Chaitanya will surprise with his performance in the film. “Chay had his own doubts whether he can fit the bill of China Bangarraju. It’s his first film on rural backdrop.”
Naga Chaitanya got more space in the trailer of the movie. “Yes, Chay has got more screen space. However, unknown presence of mine is there throughout the movie.”
Nag says Krithi Shetty is very professional. “She’s very talented and tries to converse mostly in Telugu. She played the role stylishly.”
Reacting on ticket rates another time, Nag says, “I said I didn’t have problem, because the GO came much before we started the shoot. We calculated the budget, according to the present rates.”
