Dhanush and Nagarjuna starrer Kuberaa directed by Sekhar Kammula and bankrolled by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations generated enough inquisitiveness with its promotional content.
Producers Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao informs that every actor lent good support for the movie. “Dhanush is a pan-India star who has done films in Hindi as well. Nagarjuna has long been a part of Hindi cinema. And everyone knows how popular Rashmika is across India. The story demanded a cast of this calibre.
Sekhar Kammula sees stars as characters rather than just celebrities. In this film too, the audience will see them as true characters, not just star personas. Sekhar always crafts emotionally engaging stories that touch the audience. Kubera is no different. The emotional depth in this film will truly connect with viewers.”
They disclose that Dhanush came on board and signed the project, just after listening to the story in 20 minutes. They also unveiled the importance of Nagarjuna’s character. “Sekhar Kammula couldn’t imagine anyone else playing this particular role. He came up with a stellar performance. We can’t really imagine anyone else, other than Nagarjuna in the role. He truly owned the role.”
Although the promos introduced the characters of the movie with different shades, the producers finally revealed the core theme. “The conflict of the movie is the contrast between the richest man in the world and the poorest man on the streets.”
The film’s theatrical trailer will be launched tomorrow.
