It was unusual for him to do a mass and commercial entertainer, though he gave his best in promotions by taking part in every publicity event.
The movie, however, received a lukewarm response and ended up as a disaster. It is now streaming on Netflix.
What truly stood out, however, was Siddu’s sense of responsibility. In an admirable gesture, he reportedly returned 4 crore to help compensate for the losses incurred by the producers.
This rare act of integrity and compassion of Siddu Jonnalagadda has been widely appreciated.
While many actors simply move on to their next project without much concern for the financial aftermath, Siddu’s gesture underscores his character and commitment.
Currently, Siddu Jonnalagadda is busy working on Telusu Kada, slated for a grand Diwali release on October 17th.
