Bimbisara proved to be a hit. There is a clear hint that a sequel to it is in line.
In spite of Sita Ramam and Karthikeya-2 hitting the screens eventually and becoming huge hits, 'Bimbisara' could sustain and make its run.
Many have been awaiting its sequel. But sources say that it is not going to happen anytime soon.
As of now director Vasisht is in holiday mood and visiting different temples. After that he will start working on the script of the sequel.
Kalyan Ram has a three film commitment for Mythri Movies, Dil Raju and Abhishek Nama. Besides, he is also a partner in NTR-Koratala film. Only after completing these films can he go on to the sets of Bimbisara-2.
So until then the script work continues and we may expect the sequel to Bimbisara hitting the screens only after a year.
