Bunny, Aravind Watched Ghani And Loved It: Kiran

Came to the industry at the very young age, Kiran Korrapati has turned director with Ghani starring Varun Tej.

The film produced by Allu Bobby and Siddhu Mudda stars some stellar cast including Saiee Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Nadhiya, Upendra, Suniel Shetty, Naveen Chandra etc.

The director in his exclusive interview with us revealed how did the movie materialize and what troubles he faced while making it.

“I took break after Sarocharu to start own trials as director. However, I realized later that it’s a wrong decision. Then, I joined Mister movie as a co-director. Varun Tej became very close to me, while working for the movie. He asked me to work for Tholi Prema as well. I narrated him different stories, during the making of that film. However, he wanted to do a sports backdrop movie.”

Kiran informs he approached Varun Tej within a month with Ghani’s story and he got immediate nod. “Like Varun Tej, my producers Bobby and Sidhu too believed in me and the subject.”

Although the film follows the same template of a sports movie, Kiran affirms an emotional layer was added to break the template.

“Overall, the film will have 4-5 matches, including interval and climax sequence. Audience won’t feel like watching a boxing movie. There will be curiosity all through.”

Kiran says he penned seven different love tracks for the movie and the one included in the movie will look fresh on screen.

He also reveals that Allu Arjun and Allu Aravind watched the movie. “Both Bunny and Aravind garu watched the movie and they loved it. Aravind garu congratulated me saying ‘you delivered a hit’.”
