After the Baahubali franchise, there are high expectations from Prabhas’ upcoming film Saaho.
Helmed by Sujeeth, the film will mark Prabhas’ return to the silver screen after the humongous success of Baahubali.
Recently, the film's trailer was launched and it was a visual spectacle. Ever since the film was announced, it's big-budget was always a talking point.
Now, Prabhas, in an interview with Film Companion's Anupama Chopra revealed the budget of his film Saaho.
Earlier, it was reported that Saaho is being made on a huge budget of Rs 250 crore. But, Prabhas gave us a staggering number.
When asked about the film's budget, the Baahubali actor said, "Yes, it's true. The film's budget is Rs 350 crore."
It was earlier reported that the makers had splurged Rs 80 crore for a particular chase sequence that was shot in and around Abu Dhabi.
He also addressed rumours about Saaho being a futuristic film.
"It happens in the present. Some parts of it are futuristic, but it is real. You can see me flying in the trailer. We made it bigger. The pink lake in the trailer that you see, it's in Australia. Everything is real. We got the best of everything around the world and put it together."
Saaho, produced by UV Creations, will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam as well.
