Young sensation Pradeep Ranganathan’s latest outing Dude, co-starring Mamitha Baiju, is setting the box office on fire.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has had a phenomenal extended Diwali weekend, grossing over 83 crore worldwide in just four days.
Dude has crossed 1 million in ticket sales and currently holds the top spot in bookings globally among all Diwali releases. The film is performing exceptionally well in both Telugu and Tamil languages.
Marching steadily towards the 100 crore mark, Dude is set to join the elite club of blockbusters.
Given its budget, the film is turning out to be a hugely profitable venture for both the producers and distributors, with most territories already recovering their investments.
Directed by debutant Keerthiswaran, Dude is also a massive hit overseas. Including North America and other key international markets, the film has grossed over $1.5 million so far.
Even on its first working day, bookings remain strong, underlining the film’s solid word-of-mouth and repeat value, and proving it’s the true winner of the festive season.
