Flops and disasters are common in anybody's career. But when it comes to big stars, any mishap would incur colossal losses apart from getting looked down by the entire film fraternity.
The anti fans do troll on social media and the market potential of the heroes gets badly affected.
One such film that knocked out many historical disasters and stood up as a massive flop is 'Laal Singh Chaddha' by Aamir Khan.
Advait Chandan remade it from Forrest Gump but the audience made it Worst Dump. The film was made with a budget of Rs 200 Cr approx but failed to collect even one fourth of it as a producers' share.
The film should rely only on OTT and other non theatrical rights and struggle to make a breakeven. But as per the record of it, in the industry point of view, the film ended up as a colossal debacle.
SRK's biggest disaster 'Zero' of 2018 is defeated by Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' with a massive Rs 100 Cr loss.
Revealing the same, a trade source told one of the top Bollywood websites, "All 3 Khans have given disasters at some point in their career, though the three continue to be three of the biggest crowd pullers in the modern era of Indian cinema as also the biggest crowd pullers of Bollywood. Higher the budgets, higher is the risk for the trio. And the high budget has backfired because Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha will clock record losses and also emerge the biggest Khan disaster of all time."
Salman Khan is not in this list of all time biggest industry disasters. But Aamir Khan came up with one earlier with Thugs of Hindustan as well.
Now we have to see what kind of films Aamir and SRK come up with next.
