Big Hero Calls Himself A Fakir

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan returned to acting after a four-year hiatus with the film "Pathaan," directed by Siddharth Anand and co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

The YRF movie was a major success, earning over 850 crore rupees worldwide. Khan took a break after his films "Jab Harry Met Sejal" and "Zero" underperformed at the box office. This is not uncommon for actors, as not all movies are successful.

SRK himself has faced this before with his film "Ra.One." In a 2012 interview, SRK was asked about the workability of films and his relevance in a changing world.

Shah Rukh Khan spoke in a mix of Hindi and English and said, "Badshahs have wealth, but I am an ascetic, a fakir. I never believed in material wealth and never needed it. I came to Mumbai with 1500 rupees and will go back with the same amount. I have earned a lot of love and name, and that cannot be taken away from me. I am not scared of failure in films, as 70 of the movies I have done have been successful, so I will make one more and it will work eventually."
