Acclaimed filmmaker Gunasekhar, known for his unique storytelling, is currently busy with his new youthful social drama titled Euphoria.
Produced by Neelima Guna and Yuktha Guna under the Guna Handmade Films banner, the film is presented by Ragini Guna.
The makers initially planned to release the film on Christmas Day, December 25th.
However, due to several films suddenly joining the Christmas lineup, they decided to postpone the release to avoid a box-office clash. Euphoria will now hit theatres on February 6th, 2026.
Announcing the new date today, the team stated, “Due to the sudden inclusion of several films in the Christmas 2025 release slate, and to avoid a box-office pile-up while ensuring a better release that a film like Euphoria deserves, we have decided to push our release date by a few weeks to February 6th, 2026.”
They added, “We promise a thought-provoking and impactful experience in cinemas, along with exciting promotions ahead.”
The teaser, released along with the announcement, offers a trippy experience with striking visuals.
Praveen K. Pothan is handling the cinematography, and Prawin Pudi is overseeing the editing.
