Big Banner Lost Almost Rs 100 Cr With These

Mythri Movie Makers is a prestigious and successful big banner in the Telugu film industry today.

The makers of this banner are known for their bold yet intelligent decisions. They don’t gamble but take calculated risks as part of their business.

With Pushpa 2, they made a big roar at the national and international box office. They earned huge revenues, and the numbers can be found online.

However, as per reliable sources, after Pushpa 2, the banner suffered a series of losses, totaling nearly Rs. 100 crore to date.

The films that came after Pushpa 2 from Mythri Movie Makers include: Robinhood, which lost around Rs. 30 crore; Jaat, which lost around Rs. 15–20 crore; Good Bad Ugly, which lost roughly Rs. 15–20 crore; Gandhi Gari Chettu, which lost Rs. 3 crore; and 8 Vasanthalu, their latest film, which lost around Rs. 3 crore.

They also made a couple of Malayalam films that didn’t work out. These losses came despite successful OTT sales, thanks to the banner’s strong reputation.

However, this banner needs to be more cautious in selecting subjects and making investments.

The year 2026 appears to be a promising one for Mythri Movie Makers, as they have films in the pipeline like the NTR–Prashanth Neel project and the Prabhas–Hanu Raghavapudi film, Fauzi. Additionally, they have a stake in the Ram Charan–starrer Peddi.

All three films seem promising, provided the budgets are kept under control. It will be interesting to see what’s in store for them, with a bit of luck!
