Ashika Misses One, Gains Another for Sankranthi

Ashika Misses One, Gains Another for Sankranthi

Kannada beauty Ashika Ranganath has been steadily working to establish a strong presence in Telugu cinema.

After starring alongside Kalyan Ram and Nagarjuna, she secured two big projects opposite senior stars.

Ashika initially hoped to make a grand impact during the Sankranthi 2026 season with Vishwambhara, in which she stars opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Featuring Trisha and Ashika as the leading ladies, the film was originally planned for a festive release but was later postponed indefinitely — a decision that reportedly left her disappointed.

Fortunately, her Sankranthi dream has been revived through another major project.

Bharatha Mahasayulaku Vignapthi, starring Ravi Teja, has now locked January 13, 2026, for its release.

With the date confirmed, the team kick-started promotions by unveiling the first song, “Bella Bella,” officially placing the film in the Sankranthi race.

With two major Telugu releases lined up next year, Ashika Ranganath is set for a strong 2026.
