The makers of “RRR” have done promotions, and the buzz around it reached the pinnacle. But trouble brews in Karnataka as the angry Kannadigas have started a trending hashtag against the movie on Twitter.
As expected, “RRR” is to be screened in the maximum number of screens in Karnataka. But Kannadigas are angry that the Kannada version is not getting many screens.
The carpet-bombing was done for the Telugu version only. So, they have started trending against the film on social media.
Plus, the film’s release has restricted the screens for Puneeth Rajkumar’s last film, James.
We have to see how the would makers pacify Kannadigas. The Karnataka distributor even arranged a pre-release event in the state, and the state Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had also graced the ceremony.
There is a huge buzz but some groups in Karnataka are not happy with the handling of the movie’s release.
