Allu Aravind is putting pressure on leading directors to director or pen web dramas for his streaming App.
Director Krish is currently producing content for ‘Aha’. Allu Aravind is also asking Trivikram and Sukumar to do directorial supervision for some web dramas.
As all directors are left with no movie shootings due to lockdown, Aravind is asking them to use this period to switch over to streaming platforms.
If the current big directors come on board, the streaming app will get an image change. So far, ‘Aha’ has not made any impact on its content.
It is now can compete with the biggies like Amazon, Hotstar, and Netflix in terms of quality content.
Allu Aravind doesn’t want to give up. He is personally requesting several big names to help in getting better content to attract subscribers.
In Hollywood, big directors like David Fincher had directed web dramas. In Bollywood, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, and other leading directors also had their stint in web series.
