Allu Arjun visiting Nandyal on the last day of campaign in Andhra Pradesh and waving towards the sea of crowd gathered at the residence of YSRC party candidate Shilpa Ravi Chandrasekhar Reddy created a political uproar.
Although Allu Arjun emphasized that he lent his support to Ravi just because of their friendship, Pawan Kalyan's supporters and Jana Sena party leader perceived it as treachery.
Today, on election day, Allu Arjun elucidated more after voting in Jubilee Hills.
He made it clear that he would always support Pawan Kalyan. He stated that he will support his friends and family members regardless of political affiliation.
This comment was interpreted as an attempt to dispel the political heat generated by his Nandyal tour.
There is also speculation that Allu Arjun was forced to make this statement by his father, Allu Aravind, in order to avert an unnecessary schism within their family. Thus, Allu Arjun put a stop to speculations.
He also stated that he will never enter politics and will instead focus solely on his acting career.
