Neighbour states are releasing films with 100 % seating capacity, do you think Telugu states should also follow it?
I came to know that, efforts are being made to get permission for 100% seating capacity here as well. It will be definitely helpful for us, if gets the permission. But, my humble request to one and all that please wear masks and bring small sanitizers to theatres for your safety.

How was it working under new normal in covid times?
We took all precautionary measures while shooting for the film. Nearly 300 people worked for the shoot of two songs in huge sets. Thankfully, no single case was reported. I was particular about everyone on sets wearing masks.

Your previous films with Gopichand Malineni were super hits. Do you think Krack will complete hat-trick hits in your combination?
I’m pretty confident about this film becoming a big hit. If I’m not wrong it will definitely work.

Ravi Teja is known for entertainment, does this film have enough entertainment?
Krack is a full length entertainer. The character I played is very entertaining. Though you didn’t see much fun in the trailer, the film has adequate comedy.

You played a cop in few films, did any police officer told you that, they were inspired by your character?
When I go outside, few say that, they were big fans of Vikram Singh Rathode character. I must say that, all the credit goes to Rajamouli garu. I wish the same will be repeated with this film.

Is this film remake of Tamil film Sethupathi?
Krack is based on true incidents and real time characters. It’s not remake of any film.

After Puri Jagannadh, you worked more with Gopichand Malineni, what’s the reason?
I didn’t plan. It just happened. But, I feel comfortable working with these two directors. I saw lots of maturity in Gopichand from Balupu times to now.

How did you spend the time during lockdown?
I had blast. I did workouts regularly and watched numerous films. Since there’s lots of content available to watch, there’s no question of getting bored. It’s problematic for those who go out frequently. I’m not that kind of a person. I enjoy staying at home with family. I learnt many things.

How do you celebrate your birthday on this January 26th?
I usually don’t celebrate my birthdays. My film’s release itself is a big festival for me.

Apart from Khiladi, did you sign any new projects?
As of now, I’m doing only Khiladi. I didn’t sign any other project.

How was it working with Thaman for various projects?
Initially, I did many films with Chakri in Puri Jangannadh’s combination. Then, I worked for more films with Thaman who knows what kind of music needs for my films.

When will your son Mahadhan do another film?
Anil Ravipudi forced me to take Mahadhan for the role in Raja The Great. He is now 9th grade and there’s lots of time for him to decide. It’s up to him regarding his career.

When will you work again with Anil Ravipudi and Puri Jagannadh?
Anil is a good friend of mine. He shares all his ideas with me. It’s more than a year since I met Puri. Presently, every one of us is busy with our respective projects. I don’t when will I work with them again.
