Akkineni Akhil's Bad Time Continues To Haunt

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil Akkineni was expected to become a big star even before his first film was launched.

Fast forward to five years since his debut, Akhil is still hunting for first success. His last film Mr. Majnu was a decent one, but it failed miserably at the box office.

Then Nagarjuna handed him over to Allu Aravind, who gave the first commercial hit 100% Love for Naga Chaitanya.

A medium budget film titled Most Eligible Bachelor was launched in GA 2 Pictures under the direction of Bommarillu Bhaskar.

Fans are hoping that it would fetch the first hit for Akhil and things look bright for MEB until the corona crisis forced the film industry to shutdown.

Akhil got a nice slot during peak summer as his brother Chaitanya’s Love Story was pushed to late summer. However, Most Eligible Bachelor cannot release in April now. There is still some portion of talkie and songs to be shot, which pushes its release to June or July.

So, Akhil will miss out on a season that’s considered fruitful for movies.
