Reports suggest that he will be directing a film featuring Jayakrishna, son of Ramesh Babu and grandson of the legendary actor, Superstar Ghattamaneni Krishna.
Ajay Bhupathi made a strong impression with his debut film RX 100 and recently proved his skills again with the thriller Mangalavaram. He is currently working on its sequel, Mangalavaram 2.
Amidst this busy schedule, he has taken up this new project, which is expected to be a high-profile debut. Two well-known producers are reportedly backing the film jointly.

Photos of Jayakrishna have surfaced earlier, and it's reported that he is currently undergoing professional training in London to prepare for his debut.
Interestingly, his uncle — superstar Mahesh Babu — is said to be closely monitoring the project. There is speculation that Mahesh may even oversee certain aspects of the production to ensure a solid launchpad for his nephew.
