The pre-release event of Akhil’s Agent was a huge success with the crowd attending in big numbers. Nagarjuna was the chief guest for the occasion.
Producer Anil Sunkara stated that the story was okayed in a single sitting.
“Sakshi is going to become one of the best in our industry. Dino Morea did his level best. Mammootty’s screen presence is majestic. You’ll see three lions fighting each other. After the release, Akhil will be a major star in the Telugu industry. He gave an intense performance.”
Surender Reddy recalled his journey from Karimnagar to Warangal to Hyderabad. He’s all praises for Akhil for the way he molded himself for the character.
“Everyone is talking about Akhil’s physical transformation. But I’ve seen vigor in him which drove me forward. I promised Akhil and I hope I fulfilled it. I thank Anil Sunkara for all the belief.”
Akhil started his speech by thanking his dad Nagarjuna.
“Suri Bhai, we met 2.5 years back. We wanted to do something crazy. You are going to see the wildness in the theatres. After this high, what do I do next? I had this question. Everybody is talking about transformation and body. More than that, I became strong mentally.
I thank this journey which made me stook strong today. Anil garu, thanks for attempting such a huge-scale movie. Sakshi, thanks for your patience. We all worked hard to give madness. The most memorable thing was Mammotty sir accepting this movie. I’m waiting for everyone to see our scene.”
Nagarjuna stated that the Telugu audience will encourage movies with different genres.
“Surender Reddy attempted a thriller and spy genre with Agent. I wish it will become a blockbuster. I haven’t yet seen the movie. I didn’t even know the story. But Akhil used to tell me a few things. The movie has all the ingredients required for a commercial cinema. Surender Reddy delivered many blockbusters.
Anil Sunkara made the movie on an uncompromised manner. You’ll see stunning visuals. Sakshi, god bless you. Mammootty accepted to do the movie, which is another positive sign. Mammootty sir is not here. His mother passed away 3 days ago. Still, he completed the dubbing work.
I need to talk about Wild Saala now. Akhil’s energy, you’re seeing now. We’ve seen his energy from his childhood. He troubled his mother in her stomach. When he was 8 months, he used to be extremely energetic. His mother even took him to the hospital. I thank Surender for showing that energy.
Akhil got that physique in 9 months in a natural way. Thankfully, at our young age, there was no 6-pack thing.”
The movie Agent is slated for release on 28th of this month.
