Inspired by the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who is the hero of 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, Adivi Sesh starrer Major was supposed to release on July 2nd.
Like many films which were scheduled for release in summer and next few months got postponed, due to lockdown followed by covid-19 second wave.
“We will announce the new theatrical release date in the days to come once things get back to normal. Times are tough but so are we,” stated the makers.
Major teaser was released in last month and received overwhelming response from one and all.
Saiee Manjrekar and Sobhita Dhulipala played crucial roles in the film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.
It is known that, Sesh himself penned story and screenplay for the film.
