Director Om Raut has opened up on the controversies surrounding his next film, Adipurush, which features Prabhas in the titular character.
The Bollywood director said misconception and misunderstanding about the project made people come to the wrong conclusions.
He stressed that the film would be a great tribute to our mythologies, and Prabhas will portray the character with all devotion.
The director has not officially spoken about the film’s story, but it is known to everyone that he is retelling the story of the battle between Lord Ram and Raavan. Prabhas will portray the role of Ram.
“The script is designed for Prabhas. Had Prabhas not agreed, I would not have taken up this project. No one will do justice to this role other than Prabhas. Adipurush is meant for Prabhas solely,” he clarified.
Prabhas will begin the shoot of “Adipurush” once he wraps two schedules of Prashanth Neel’s “Salaar”.
