Actress Priyanka Chopra who has shot to international fame for acting in some Hollywood ventures has given an interview to the renowned Oprah Winfrey.
In the talk, she revealed how she faced the embarrassment in the initial days of her career when a director asked her to strip to underwear to dance for a sultry song.
As per her version, the film maker didn't tell his idea initially, but asked her to strip down to underwear on the sets. But the actress couldn't revolt as she was scared then. She says that the only regret in her life is not standing up to the film maker that day.
In fact, there are many such situations for many actresses in the Indian film industry. Some directors don't reveal what is in their minds while signing the agreement. But after building some confidence, in a particular scene or a song sequence, some directors ask their heroines to do either a smooching scene or a semi nude one. Sometimes, when the actress hesitates, these directors even try to convince saying ' let the shoot happen and will cut it off during the editing if not comfortable'.
Priyanka Chopra shares something similar. She said that she could do nothing but quit the film on the next day itself. The name of the film maker is not revealed.
