After welcoming her daughter Raha, Alia Bhatt approached her post pregnancy fitness journey with patience and determination.
She said that her trainer, Sohrab Khushrushahi, adapted each workout to her daily needs, focusing on breathwork, pelvic floor exercises and gentle strength training during pregnancy to maintain overall health.
Post delivery, Alia began with 15 minute walks and breathing exercises before slowly adding yoga, Pilates, light cardio and strength training.
Alongside workouts, she followed a balanced diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, proteins and practiced portion control which is crucial. She credited breastfeeding as another factor in her recovery.
Sharing her progress, Alia advised new mothers to listen to their bodies and not rush the process. Just six weeks after delivery, she attempted an inversion under guidance.
Her mindful, steady approach not only helped her regain strength but also inspired other moms to focus on health and self kindness rather than quick fixes.
