Popular Tamil actor Vishal gave fans a scare after collapsing on stage during the Miss Koovagam Transgender Beauty Contest in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu on Sunday.
Attending the event as a special guest, the actor fainted unexpectedly and was immediately assisted by his team and event organisers, including former minister K. Ponmudy.
Vishal was quickly taken to a nearby private hospital, where he received emergency treatment.
His manager, Hari, later stated that the incident may have been triggered by the actor skipping a meal. While Vishal is reportedly stable, no official medical update has been released so far.
This incident comes just months after Vishal recovered from dengue in January 2025.
Fans, who had recently commented on his noticeably frail appearance, have flooded social media with concern and prayers for his quick recovery.
