Amid media reports claiming he was hospitalized due to a sudden health issue, Kannada star Upendra took to social media to set the record straight.
He dismissed the reports as false and assured fans that he is doing fine.
The star, known for his unique and unconventional films, enjoys a strong fan following even in the Telugu states. He resides in Bengaluru.
Upendra clarified that his hospital visit on Monday was merely for a routine check-up, not for treatment of any illness.
Posting in Kannada on X.com, Upendra wrote: “Hello everyone... I am healthy. I just visited the hospital for a regular check-up. Don’t be misled by any speculations. Thank you very much for your love and care.”
Upendra was recently seen in UI and will next appear in Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
