A Blockbuster PHOENIX ATA Day Event

American Telugu Association celebrated ATA Day much pomp & fervor and in a grandeur fashion on August 23rd, 2025 at the Mesa Convention Center – a record-breaking 4,000+ crowd attended the event showcasing the prowess and the might of Telugu Americans by celebrating Telugu rich cultural heritage, tradition, values, customs & music.

City of Chandler’s Mayor, Kevin Hartke, attended the event as a special guest and extended his warm wishes to the Telugu community.

Meticulous arrangements were made from registrations to stage management, from hospitality to cultural coordination – the Phoenix ATA Arizona Family once again proved that with great team work a team can deliver wonders.

Event started off with the divine blessings of Lord Venkateswara’s ceremonial Srinivasa Kalyanam. Patrons clad in Indian ethnic wear performed the Pooja and patrons were issued TTD laddus as Prasadam.

A wide swath of programs ranging from Business Meet connecting leaders & entrepreneurs, to the Fashion Show to Cultural Extravaganza to Kids Competitions, Food Festival, and the thunderous Live Concert – ATA Day in Phoenix resembled nothing short of a Convention that took Valley of the Sun by storm.

Entrepreneurial aspirants were in for a feast with the Business Meet primarily focusing on delivering powerful insights into the growth sectors and opportunities in and around the area.

ATA President Jayanth Challa Garu along with ATA President-Elect Satish Reddy Garu, Secretary Sainath Boyapalli Garu, Executive Director Narsi Reddy Gaddikopula and Board of Trustee Venn Reddy Garu congratulated Phoenix team for hosting such a blockbuster event.

ATA President Jayanth Challa spoke about recent activities across 25 U.S. cities and announced the 19th ATA Convention, scheduled for July 31–August 2, 2026, in Baltimore. President-Elect Satish Reddy highlighted charity initiatives in both the U.S. and India and announced ATA Vedukalu 2025, which will take place in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from December 12–27, 2025, concluding at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.

Prominent Tollywood Singer Sumangaly along with the Raagin Band delivered an electrifying performance that enthralled the audiences and the crowd were witnessed dancing to the tunes and having a great gala time.

ATA Arizona Regional Director Raghunath reddy Gadi attributed the mega success of the event to the incredible support and generosity of the sponsors and congratulated them for the incredible support. Regional Coordinators: Sunil Annapureddy, Subha Gayam, Madan Bollareddy were appreciative of the efforts of the volunteers for their selfless dedication and help to create lasting memories and an unforgettable event.

Regional Sports Chair Shesi Reddy Gade, Women’s Chair Bindya, Co-Chair: Divya Talasila Cultural Chair: Kanthi Priya, Co-Chair: Nivedita Gadi and Core Members: Paritosh Poli, Siva Devagudi, Ravi Garlapati, Arvind, Pranay, Praveen, Deeraj Pola, Ruku myla, Vijay Kandukuri, Saritha Bandaru & Sudharsan worked tirelessly to make this event a grand success . Decorations by Malathi & Ravi Garlapati ofe Dream Decorz were the highlight of the evening.
