Her mom's a superstar who can still make young men go weak in their knees. Even today, she continues to have many fans and is much sought after by film-makers to act in their films. Despite her fame and success, Lady Luck is not favoring Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi.
Though her debut plans were announced quite some time back, nothing has materialized till now as far as her launch film is concerned.
Earlier, it was said that she would debut with Akhil, but that did not happen. Later, there was talk that Karan Johar would be making a film for her. But eventually that plan fizzled out.
However Sridevi has been trying her best to launch her little girl opposite a big star or at least a star with big potential. This industry insiders say is the actual cause for the delay.
There is general feeling though that Jhanvi is as good looking as her mother. And Sridevi too has been trying to promote her daughter by bringing her along to filmy functions.
But no project has been finalized as yet and many Sridevi fans worry that she might lose the innocent look on her face if she is put on hold any longer.
Well, we hope things work out in her favour and she has a dream debut.
