It is now certain that Pawan Kalyan will not be returning to films any time soon as he has decided to devote himself to politics completely.
Pawan Kalyan is now busy overseeing the preparations for holding a large public meeting in Guntur on March 14, on the eve of his party's foundation day.
Mythri Movie Makers and producer A M Ratnam have been waiting to launch their next films with Pawan Kalyan.
To ease the tension, Pawan recently met Naveen and Ravi of Mythri Movies to discuss his plans and also give them a timeframe about his return, say sources close to him.
For now, Pawan Kalyan has decided to return the advance amount. But the producers were willing to wait for his return to movies next year, add the sources. Mythri had paid power star Rs 11 Cr as advance amount long back.
Pawan Kalyan also promised them if in case he changes his mind, he would give them first priority.
On the other hand, director Santosh Srinivas who prepared a script for Pawan Kalyan based on the Tamil movie “Theri” has been asked to change it to suit another hero. This film will now be made with another mass hero.
But it remains to be seen who will accept the film, as the director's past two films Rabhasa and Hyper have been box-office duds.
