Sources say that the remuneration of Siddharth Anand to directr this film is Rs 80 Cr. It seems that already 20-30 Cr was given in the form of advances. So, the producers are paying interest much before the beginning of the project.
Already it has been years that Prabhas received Rs 20 Cr as advance towards this project.
On the other hand, Mythri banner has an agreement with Salman Khan which has paid him Rs 50 Cr long ago towards an advance. Though a director was fixed nothing moved later.
So, keeping the profits earned on other films aside, the interests like these eat away the pockets of production houses.
