Samantha Akkineni has signed on Guna Sekhar's "Sakunthalam" and the first press meet was also conducted a few days ago. Many have wondered how much would Samantha charge for this film as she is playing the title role.
When Guna Sekhar approached several actresses, none accepted the proposal. But when Dil Raju has come into the picture there was some momentum and Samantha okayed the project.
The remuneration she quoted was Rs 2.5 Cr. In fact she has already given Rs 50 lakh discount considering the other expenses of the movie.
On the other hand she signed a project with Nandini Reddy for which she signed on the agreement and took advance. The remuneration she is getting for that film is a solid Rs 3 Cr. This will be done in 2022.
