‘Pan-India’ is the new mantra that Tollywood is chanting these days.
Prabhas, Allu Arjun, NTR, Ram Charan, and other stars are promoting their movies as multi-lingual projects that would appeal to audiences nationwide. Samantha is also joining this growing list.
Samantha Akkineni has turned down Bollywood offers earlier, but she is making a debut in a Hindi web series titled “The Family Man 2”.
She is also planning to dub “Shaakuntalam” in Hindi. Producer-director Gunasekhar is also pitching it as a Pan-India project to recover the costs.
The film is based on a story from “Mahabharat”. So, Samantha and Gunasekhar feel that it would have acceptability in all Indian languages.
Samantha Akkineni’s growing popularity on Instagram will also help her in the Pan-India market. She recently crossed the milestone of garnering 15 million Insta followers.
