Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Mass Jathara, produced by Sithara Entertainments, was initially planned for a May release but is now officially scheduled for August 27. However, fans are skeptical if that date is truly locked.
The confusion arises because the same production house is behind Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, which is still stuck in post-production.
As of now, the makers are considering July 25 or August 1 for Kingdom's release. But if it gets delayed further, it may clash with Mass Jathara.
Releasing two major films from the same banner in the same month seems unlikely.
If Kingdom has to release in August, it must come out on the 1st, as the 8th is too close to August 15, when two other big films are already slated for release. Pushing it further would interfere with Mass Jathara's release.
Amidst this uncertainty, reports suggest that Ravi Teja has asked producer Naga Vamsi not to postpone Mass Jathara again.
His reason? Another film of his is planned for a Sankranti release, just four months after Mass Jathara. Hence, Kingdom is left with no option but to arrive on July 25 or August 1.
