After scoring a massive hit with “Akhanda”, director Boyapati Srinu received advance payments from producers.
He needs to do films for prominent production houses like Mythri Movie Makers and Sithara Entertainments. But he wanted to begin Allu Arjun’s film for Geetha Arts.
Since Allu Arjun will be busy shooting for “Pushpa 2” for another eight to ten months, Boyapati Srinu has the option of making a film with any other star. There have been discussions with Ram Pothineni to commence a film.
But the budget is going to be huge if Ram has to come on board.
Our sources say Ram Pothineni has demanded Rs 15 crore for this project. If producers agree to such a huge paycheck to Ram, Boyapati invariably demands the same.
So, Rs 30 crore alone will go to the hero and director. The producer has to shell another 40 crores for production and other remunerations.
So far, Ram’s films are being made under 40 to 50 crore. The producers have to take a risk if they want this combination should happen.
