Prabhas May Drop Prasanth Varma Project?

Prabhas May Drop Prasanth Varma Project?

With the growing controversy surrounding Prasanth Varma’s financial dealings with multiple producers, uncertainty now looms over his proposed project with top star Prabhas.

Prabhas has already signed a three-film deal with Hombale Films, the Kannada production house behind Salaar.

The banner has reportedly given him complete freedom to choose his directors. As part of this agreement, Prabhas will first team up with Prashanth Neel for Salaar 2.

For the remaining two films, he had initially considered collaborating with Prasanth Varma and another filmmaker.

Prasanth Varma had even pitched to Prabhas the same story he once narrated to Ranveer Singh, and the superstar was said to have responded positively.

However, in light of the recent controversies, Prabhas is reportedly reconsidering his options and leaning toward working with other directors instead.

Known for maintaining a clean and controversy-free image, Prabhas prefers to stay away from filmmakers involved in disputes.

Anticipating the potential fallout, Prasanth Varma released a press statement, asserting that the allegations against him are “one-sided” and that the reports misrepresent the situation.
