The actor reportedly avoids flying on commercial airlines and instead prefers to travel exclusively on private jets.
According to industry talk, the main reason is his long known habit of chain smoking. Sources say the actor finds it difficult to stay without smoking for long periods.
Commercial flights strictly prohibit smoking during the journey, which makes it uncomfortable for him during long travel hours.
Private jets, however, provide more flexibility and privacy. Certain chartered flights allow smoking on board, making them a convenient choice for the superstar.
Because of this, Shah Rukh Khan is said to rely almost entirely on private aviation whenever he needs to travel for film shoots, promotions, or personal commitments.
