Chiranjeevi's Own Project Shelved At Rs 1 Cr?

Chiranjeevi's Own Project Shelved At Rs 1 Cr?

Film projects are often uncertain endeavors. Doubts linger until the production gains momentum, and there are initial expenses to cover, which don't give guarantee if they are for right use.

Once the film is firmly in production and ready for release, these costs become part of the overall production expenses. However, if the movie encounters setbacks or stalls, it becomes a tricky situation.

In the case of Megastar's daughter's film project with her father, the initial steps were taken care of. The story was reviewed and deemed acceptable. However, due to connections with other individuals, the project underwent a significant overhaul, ultimately aligning with a different director.

Ultimately, Kalyan Krishna was chosen as the director, but this is where the things didn't move further.

Unfortunately, Chiranjeevi's latest film "Bholashankar" met with resounding failure. This raised concerns about the viability of proceeding with this own film.

Consequently, the entire project was put on hold. Chiranjeevi is getting ready to do a big budget film on UV banner.

However, the total cost incurred on the shelved project so far is Rs 1 Cr which went towards some settlements related to the writer and some advances.

It appears that the writer was sent off with disappointment and the project was shelved. The future remains uncertain as to whether this paused project will ever regain its momentum and move forward.
