“Sarkaru Vaari Paata” was announced last month but the details of the remuneration of this big project are coming out now.
Director Parusaram has now agreed for a cut in the paycheck. After the massive success of “Geetha Govindam”, producer Allu Aravind has agreed to give him a remuneration of Rs 9 Crore for the Mahesh Babu’s project but it didn’t work out.
Later Mythri Movie Makers set this combination of Mahesh Babu and Parusaram and the film titled “Sarkaru Vaari Paata” was recently announced.
Rs 10 Crore as remuneration for Parusram was fixed initially but post-COVID19, the director has agreed for the deduction. He will now take Rs 7 Cr as remuneration and will get a share in profits after the release.
Mahesh Babu has signed this film for whopping Rs 50 crore remuneration but the producers yet to make renegotiation with the superstar.
The coronavirus and the current economic recession has completely changed the movie business. Big or small, movie stars ought to reduce their remunerations now.
The existing projects also should go for a cut in the budget.
