US: Rangasthalam Becomes Third Biggest Hit

'Rangasthalam' finally broke the record of 'Srimanthudu' at USA box-office. The film grossed $2,867,291 by end of its second Friday. And has added $22,300 dollars to its kitty on Saturday.

Thus the film crossed the lifetime gross of Mahesh Babu's 2015 blockbuster 'Srimanthudu'. Koratala Siva directed 'Srimanthudu' collected $2.89 million in its entire run. 

'Rangasthalam' is now officially all-time third biggest hit among Telugu movies in North America. It will also be touching $3 million dollar mark in a day or two.

The film was distributed in USA by the first-time distributors and they hit gold with this.  

“Rangasthalam” is period-revenge drama set in the fictitious village called Rangasthalam in tribal agency of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.

Directed by Sukumar, it was produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Samantha, Anasuya and Aadhi Pinishetty played important roles.
