Nenu Local crossed half million mark in US on Saturday. The film has set a record for Nani’s films in US with stunning opening.
After Saturday, Nenu Local total gross in US stays at $645K.
Nani’s films have been consistently doing well in US since Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. However, he couldn’t score another Million Dollar movie post BBM.
Only Gentleman came close to that mark with over $900K. With the start it got, Nenu Local has set its eyes on the Million Dollar club.
It should post over $750K by the end of its first weekend and second weekend will be crucial for it achieve the Million dollar feat as Om Namo Venkatesaya and Singam 3 are releasing next week.
Even if Nenu Local enters the MD club or not, it has yet again proved that Nani is a force to be reckoned with in the overseas market.
