YSR Congress Party Vijayothsava Sabha was organized in Detroit on Friday, May 13th 2011 evening that was attended by about 150 YSR congress party activists and leaders. The jubilations began at 6:30 PM and did not end till late night. They celebrated the victory of their leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy by cutting cake and with much fanfare.
Mr. Y. V. Subba Reddy and Mr. Gurunatha Reddy (MLA, Anantapur) addressed the gathering via teleconference. They appreciated the support and encouragement that NRIs are giving to the young leader YS Jagan and appealed to the party activists to follow the foot steps of late Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy and indulge in service activities to help poor and needy.
NRI YSR Congress party leaders Lingala Hariprasad Reddy, Vinod Kukunoor, Chittaluri Srinivas, Yugandhar Bhumireddy, Sreenivas Pidhaparthy, Ramana Konuganti, Venkat Beeram, Sivaram Yarlagadda, Ravi Kiran, Vinod Atmakur, Sagar Reddy and Srinivas Raju organized the event.
They said that the thumping victory of Mr. Jagan in Kadapa proved beyond doubt that the spirit of YSR was with the YSR Congress. The trust and faith that people of AP kept on YS Jagan has made the 125-year old Congress and 30-year old TDP to bite the dust. He is here to stay and fight for the people.
