Texas YSR fans club which is also involved in many philanthropic activities celebrated the 64th birth celebrations of Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy with pomp and gaiety.
The occasion saw over 200 people congregating and relaying his life experiences. The fluencies brought were heart touching and giving the audience a chance to know about Maha Neta Dr. YSR.
Raman Reddy Kristapati presided over the gathering and in his opening remarks requested the people for a minute of silence to all those who lost lives in Uttarakhand, continuing his speech he claimed YSR to be the Man of Millennia and requested all those present to light a candle in respect to the great leader. There were 64 candles lit marking the occasion.
Speaking at the gathering Prasad Mallu a visiting dignitary from Hyderabad mentioned Dr. YSR to be a leader whose life was dedicated to the welfare of the people of A.P state. He mentioned the state is fortunate to have a leader of YSR stature. Mallikarjun Reddy who came from Anantapur Dist. proclaimed Dr. YSR to be one of the very few who brought development and a special identity in the nation.
Dr. Sridhar Korsapati speaking to the audience said the state is missing YSR but soon a reality will come in the form of Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy who will continue the unfinished tasks of late Dr. YSR. Mahesh Adibhatla addressing the crowd said the day is not far when the Congress party will have to pay heavy price for all the injustice meted out to the people and the family of YSR.
Sharada Singireddy speaking at the occasion laid out the schemes of Dr. YSR and how the people got benefited with these schemes. Krishna Reddy Koduru claimed the DNA of YSR family is sacrifice, welfare and not what others claim to be. Janaki Ram while talking said YSR’s greatest strength was his word of promise and would fulfill any promise that he gave. Anant Pajjur recalled the memories of YSR’s trip to the US in 2002.
A cake was cut on the occasion by Ajay Reddy, Dr. Sridhar Reddy Korsapati, NMS Reddy, Ravi Maddi of NATS, Anant Pajjur of ATA, Jaychandra Reddy of NATA, Vinod Uppu of TANA.
Others who participated in the occasion were Rao Kalvala, Pratap Bhimireddy, Narsimha Reddy Urimindi, Subramanyam Jonnalagadda, Raghu Chittimalla, Balki Chamkura, Chinasatyam Veernapu, Madhu Kolachina, Srinivas Tarugu, Mahender Kamireddy.
