World Premiere Of Telugu Film 'It Happens' Rocks Dallas

A scintillating occasion marked the premiere show of “IT Happens” an I.T based one hour Telugu short feature film in Dallas.

Mr. Sreekanth Samudrala, the writer and director of the film marked his debut to an electrifying response from the audience. A red carpet welcoming reminded the audience of a highly ceremonial event. Mr. Sreekanth Samudrala invited all amidst cheering and thanked them for being present at the premiere event. 

Amidst overwhelming response the film was screened twice for the Dallas Telugu audience, with over 800 people watching the film in packed theatres.

The film's director Mr. Sreekanth Samudrala mentioned that since his childhood films always provided inspiration and this very element led him to write this story which is based on characters that we see in our day to day lives and come across as our daily events. He provided some key strengths of the film such as entire film being shot in Dallas, the cast and crew from the Dallas metropolis area; he mentioned that most of the cast members are debutants through the movie “IT Happens”. 

Suman Suraparaju, Purushotham Marella, Sreekanth Samudrala, Krishna Smitha Chunduri, Meera Srinivasan, Lakshmi Marella, Raghavendra Pakanati and Krishna Veer who played the main roles in the movie and were applauded for their talent and effort. Another strong asset of the film was a professional’s entry.

Mr. Rajasekhar Suribhotla yet again a resident of Dallas who composed some reverberating tunes to this captivating film. The audience was glued to the film during screening and enjoyed each bit of it, and their response was all thumbs up.

They recalled each and every bit of the film to their real lives as funny, engrossing, interesting and mentioned that the story line as an inspiring message. A univocal message prevailed that Mr. Sreekanth should take it to the higher step and make a full length sensible and enticing film like “IT Happens” in the future.

Among the many guests who graced the occasion included community dignitaries such as Dr. Sridhar Reddy Korsapati ,Mr. Prasad Thotakura and Ms.Geetha Damanna (Presidents of IANT,TANA and TANTEX respectively), KC Chekuri (The Chair person of TANA Telugu Cultural Commitee) and telugu film celebrities like Mr. Kiran Meegada, director of “My heart is beating adola”, Ms. Chinmayi Ghatrazu, lead actress of “Life Before Wedding” .

The guests congratulated Sreekanth Samudrala and his crew for showing an exceptional film and encouraged him to do more. Sreekanth Samudrala later thanked the audience, media such as TV9, TV5, ABN, Radiokhsuhi, Yuva Radio, TORI and DESI PLAZA and print media who supported and encouraged them throughout the process.

The cast and crew of IT Happens mentioned special thanks for their sponsors Vikram Reddy Jangam(Srivensystems INC), Ajay Reddy (VoicexNet), Thirumal Reddy Kumbum (Radio Khushi), Suryadevara Ramanaidu (Hotbreads,Irving).

The crew also thanked FUNASIA for supporting and premiering the movie at their theatres. Based on the overwhelming response at the premiere, the team of IT Happens plans to do more screenings at other major cities in the US.
