Wife And Husband Relations In Lockdown

Wife And Husband Relations In Lockdown

When there was lockdown in Wuhan city in China a few weeks ago, Indians were cracking jokes about husband and wife relations there.

Now, every Indian is going through the same situation. There were stories pouring from the Wuhan city about many things, one of them being 'Increase in the divorce cases due to the lockdown period'.

What is actually happening in Indian households now?

The majority of the husbands are simply following Allu Arjun mantra 'Simple ga surrender ayipovalanthe' from 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo', or else some husbands are doing Venky Aasan as said in "F2".

Jokes apart, all the family members are locked for a long period in the place called 'house'.  Nobody in the world could make it a reality other than Covid-19.

Whenever there is a fight between husband and wife, the hubby leaves the house to pursue higher realms of life by sitting in a bar. When the wife is upset, she always has the option of going to her parent's house.

Now, both of them are deprived of these two crazy options thanks to the Single Man Modi who doesn't understand the million problems of married family warriors.

Considering the unavoidable situation, the wife and husband's relation is getting stronger with each passing day. Yes, even when two enemies are locked in a room with no option to come out, they tend to become friends.

There is another aspect of gap between parents and children.

Generation gap can't be avoidable but it has been increasing for the past few decades as parents don't get time to spend with their kids because of their jobs and other professional commitments.

Now, the majority of them are spending time with their kids and interacting with them lovingly.  Even the children are understanding the love of their parents towards them in these crisis times. While there are always exceptions to every theory, this also has some exceptions.

On the whole, family bonds are strengthened because of the forced lockdown.
