The one issue which is currently rattling the entire nation and also the government at the centre is the gang rape which happened in Delhi few days ago in a bus. The protests have been on the rise and as usual the government is taking its own sweet time or giving adamant answers in resolving the case.
After the Delhi incident, so many rapes are happening. Many are thinking why non-stop rapes are happening but here is the fact. Rapes have been happening since long in our country but it is purely because the media has started focusing strongly on rape incidents that so much awareness is coming out.
Some are saying all this is the result of ‘Kalikaalam’ after December 21st. Few others are joking that since it is winter season the rapes have increased. But the hard logic is this heinous act of beastliness has been happening since long but media is focussing strongly now. It is time the rapists are dealt with a severe punishment and only then the media’s job will be complete.
