Hyderabad’s tennis beauty Sania Mirza has become expert in commercialising every incident of her life; not just sports, but also her personal life.
Last time, when she got engaged to her childhood friend and upcoming businessman Sohrab Mirza at Hotel Taj Krishna, Sania did not allow any television channel or a photographer to take the shots. She gave the telecast rights to NDTV Imagine and the photograph rights to a Mumbai-based commercial photographer, all for a hefty amount. The channel, in turn, made a huge profit out of it by getting sponsorship for telecasting and the photographer, too, made a big money by selling the shots to Times Group at an astronomical rights.
Well, this time, everybody is curious to know which channel Sania would give the telecast rights of her marriage with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik and at what price. Last time, not many channels were aware of her plans; but this time, the channels are vying for telecast rights especially because Shoaib Malik had become a controversial person by dumping his first wife Ayesha Siddiqui, also of Hyderabad. And Sania’s father Imran is learnt to be demanding a huge sum for giving the telecast rights.
Well, Sania seems to be going the way of item number specialist Rakhee Sawant, who made huge money out of her Swayamvar. After choosing one guy at a sponsored event, she is now back to the Swayamvar in search of new guy!
