Watch: Telangana MLA Laughed At Pawan Kalyan

Telangana politics briefly turned lively after the neighboring state's Deputy CM and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s recent remark on the Konaseema region.

During a public meeting, Pawan said that Konaseema’s lush greenery had attracted the “evil eye” of Telangana people and hinted that this was one of the reasons the united Andhra Pradesh was split. His comment quickly drew attention and sparked debate across both states.

When reporters raised the issue at a press meet in Hyderabad, former Telangana minister and current MLA Jagadish Reddy reacted with open laughter.

Taking a sharp dig at Pawan Kalyan, he said, “It's all fate! people who speak without using their brains have become Deputy CMs and CMs. Who from here would even go there? It is their people who come to Telangana, and if anything, their 'evil eye' fell on us.”

His satirical response added fuel to the discussion online.

Many pointed out that Konaseema’s greenery resembles Kerala or Mangalore, questioning why only Telangana would cast “evil eye” on Konaseema. As usual, Pawan Kalyan’s exaggerated comment triggered a wave of trolls and criticism.
