Telangana NRI Joint Action Committee (TNRI-JAC) is organizing a mass demonstration "Chalo DC - March For Telangana" in Washington DC on October 15th, Saturday from 11am - 3pm, Ravi Mayreddy, Telangana NRI Leader informed in a press release.
Telanganites from various cities are making arrangements to participate in big numbers. Telangana organizations like Chicago Telangana Association (CHITA), Detroit telangana Association (DTA), CincyTelanganites,OH, Charlotte Telangana Association, New Jersey Telangana Association, Wasington DC Telangana Association and many other cities are taking part in this event.
TNRI-JAC is making arrangement to invite the international media (NPR, BBC, CNN, NY Times etc) to the meeting and explain the telangana issue.
Why in a world's biggest democracy, more than 600 youngsters committed suicide? Why millions of employees from all walks of life had to quit their jobs for more than 3 weeks so far, halting the daily life in telangana?
Why a democratically elected government chose to keep quite, while the democratic aspirations of it's people are taking highest forms of protests and manifestations?
We want to ask the same questions to international media and request them, to do research and find out the root cause of the problem. We are providing the documented evidence on the telangana issues.
